If you enjoy a cocktail ever so often, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all money, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever money you anticipate to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might have a win following a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be lucky sufficiently to hook a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Keep that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and bet. These activities simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little bit dramatic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is necessary. If you gamble to win, then don’t drink and bet. If you are able to afford to burn your cash without a worry, then consume all the no charge booze you are able to handle, but do not carry plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head squanders every little thing!
Let me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then hop on the web to wager in your favorite online casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my house, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
How come? Although I don’t consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and expensive, drink.
