If you enjoy having a a cocktail occasionally, keep your money out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and checks back at the hotel. Only take only the cash you expect to spend on refreshments, tips and only the pocket change you expect to lose and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You can have a win after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hit a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Keep that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but precautionary measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your assets without a worry, then drink all the complimentary booze your stomach can handle, but don’t take credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of following losses after your hooched up head throws away all the cash!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then jump on the net to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my apartment, however seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
Why? Although I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to befuddle my judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. When mixed, both create an awful, and crazy, drink.
